VOR/DME AFI, Affligem, 2 June 2006.

We drove from Ruisbroek (Brussel) towards Lennik and took there the N285 towards Asse. Immediately after the viaduct (A10-E40) go left to Essene - Afflichem.
When in Essene turn left at the church into the Assestraat. This road leads to the cemetery. At the left of the cemetery is a path going up the hill. As soon as you have passed the cemetery you will see the beacon.

The VOR/DMI installation is positioned at a beautiful location at the hill.


To the right is the entrance of the cemetery, to left the path to the beacon.
