VOR/DME HUL, Huldenberg 1 June 2006

This is an example of a beacon we had to search for with a GPS. As the pictures wil show the beacon is to find along small country roads. There are a lot of woods in this surroundings and so you will only see the beacon when you are very near to it.

The beacon is at the village of Ottenburg, about 4 kilometre North of Wavre. When coming from Wavre at Ottenburg, go right (Langerheide) direction De Tomme. The beacon is at the LHS of a dead end, the Tommestraat.

People who are interested in broadcasting antenna’s are here in the right spot. The big Transmitter of Wavre is just a few kilometres from this spot.
