VOR/TAC KOK, Koksijde mei 2006

From Nieuwpoort – we had a kind of battle there at yhe year 1600 – we took the N396 to Oostduinkerke and Koksijde. At Koksijde the name of this road is Houtsaegerlaan. Beware. Now you must look for a road at the LHS, the Burgweg. This is the road from which you can see the beacon.
On the Burgweg you see the (military) airport at the RHS. You can’t come near to the beacon, a telephoto lens is necessary.

Remember, this is a military airport, don’t try to enter the premises!

In this landscape you see far away the VOR/TAC.
