NDB OKT, Kortrijk 28 May 2006

We drove from Mackel along the A14 direction Lille. South of Kortrijk we took the A17 to Brugge. On the A17 we took exit 5, at the roundabout to the right on to the Kortrijkstraat. The airport Wevelgem/Bissegem is on the LHS. Follow this road to Bissegem. You cross over the Ringlaan and short after that you come at the centre of Bissegem. Follow one of the on going roads and find a parking space, you need to be in the centre of this town.
Walk back to the centre until you are at a square with the town hall (gemeentehuis) opposite to it. There is a road under the town hall leading to a parkingplace. Walk along this road and you find a childrens play area, turn here to the left and you will reach yhe NDB.

As easy as it was to see the NDB from the airport, as difficult it was to find it at the centre of Bissigem. We walked with the GPS in our hands from the Bissegemsestraat. We walked a lot trough several streets and then noticed at the end of an alleyway some space behind the town hall. So we searched for a road in that direction and found the narrow road to the parking behind the town hall.
