Wim was staying in a hotel near to Ferney-Volaire.
From the hotel you can see the Genève Airfield.
With Google Earth he discovered that it was about a 3 miles walk to this beacon. And so he did.
After 2 hours walking he arrived back at the hotel just after sundown.
Wim and I went to France and ent to this beacon. We arrived in the morning and had time to walk from France in to Switserland and to the other side of this beacon. Also at this side its difficult to take a good photo of this beacon.
