RAF Brize Norton Locator BZ, 3 July 2005

At the north of Brize Norton airfield is Carterton. At the west side of Carterton is a roundabout. Take the road towards village centre and at the next road crossing go right. At the end of the road go right again. This is a cul-de-sac. You park near the place where the road stops and a public footpath starts. On the LHS of the road is a house and you will see the locator beacon over the roof of this house. The locator is on the north-west corner of the airfield.
Don't forget: Brize Norton is an active military airbase. Don't climb over the fences.
