Cranfield VOR/DME CFD, 30 June 2005.

The village Cranfield and the airfield with the same name are located between Bedford and Milton Keynes. The beacon is on the airfield and there is no access to it across the airfield.
At Cranfield we found a public footpath that was going along the north side of the airfield. Along this footpath is a good place for making photo's of the beacon with any camera.
