Amboise Locator AMB, August 2nd 2009

Amboise. Here are two beacons with the name AMB. Not far from each other at the way the crow flies – ca 2km.
There is a hill with some forest in between. Therefore it takes about the double distance to go from one to the other by car.

Route from AMB (VOR) to AMB (NDB), ca 4 km – 6 min.
Start in direction northwest at the D80 to the Rue de la Vitarderie. After 1 km you take the 3rd turn to the left, onto the Rue de la Résistance and after another kilometre again left onto the Rue des Têtes Noires. This road you follow 1.1 km and then you turn left to get at the Rue de la Forgerie. The beacon is after 800 metres at the RHS.
