Chartres La Loupe VOR/DME CHW, August 1th 2009

The name of this beacon is suggesting that it’s in the neighbourhood of Chartres. But it’s over 35 km west of Chartres, just west of the village of La Loupe.

Route from La Loupe to CHW, ca 3 km – 5 min.
You start at the D920/D928/Place de l’Hotel de Ville in direction southwest to the Rue de la Gare. After ca 60 metres turn right onto the Rue de la Gare. Take after 300 m at the Place de la Gare the 3rd exit to the Rue d’Alençon. Turn right after 200 metres onto the D920/Rue du Gros Chêne and drive on for 0.5 km. Turn Right onto the D103.4 and take after 0.9 km the second turn left into direction La Madeleinerie. After 400 metres go straight on at the La Madeleinerie, drive for 300 metres and turn to the right.
You will find the beacon after 200 metres in front of you.
