VOR/DME LMG September 2005

The First Photo of this beacon I got I did get from Roald Kooyman. We wondered: “for what reason he came to just that spot?”
Wim visited the beacon in 2009 and the first thing he saw was a large antenna mast. Would that has been a kind of beacon for Roald?

Take at the N141 (This road runs along the south of the airport of Limoges) the D47 to the south. Just after passing Saint Priest-sons-Aixe the road goes over the river Aixe and you arrive at a roundabout. Take here the D10 to the west – direction Cognac-la-Foret. When at Cognac-la-Foret take the D17 – direction southeast – and after some time you can see the beacon at the LHS on a hill.
The road to the beacon is further on with a sharp turn to the left.
