Limoges Bellegarde Locator LSU, August 4th 2009

The route from LOE to LSU as Wim has been driving is taking some time. He went partly trough Limoges and his stomach made noises to warn him that is had already been luncheon time. Wim decided that the first opportunity for a picnic after passing Limoges would be the place to stop. Just when Miss Mio warned him that it was 800 metres to LSU, signs for a parking appeared.
Wim decided to go to the parking and when he has stopped he looks up to the hill that was in between the parking and the N21. He had parked right below the beacon. The best place for a beacon hunter’s picnic.

Route from LOE to LSU, ca 42 km – 36 min.
Start in northwest direction. After 200 m turn right, direction D44. After another 200 m turn right again and then after 80 m with an easy bent to the right onto the D44. Drive 500 metres; turn right onto the D219, after 700 metres drive on at the D220. After 0.9 km you turn left to go onto the A20 in the direction Limoges/Ambazac. Drive on the A20 for 14.7 km and take exit 28 in the direction of Saint-Junien/Angoulême/Oradour-sur-Glane/Couzeix/Poitiers/D2000. Go straight on over one roundabout and after 14.2 km take at the roundabout the second exit to follow the D2000. Go straight on over two roundabouts and after 8.6 km take the first exit at the roundabout onto the Rue de Bordeaux/N21. Drive for ca 1.7 km at the N21 and turn onto the parking behind the hill.
You will find LSU on top of the hill.
