Moulins Montbeugny, NDB & VOR/DME MOU, August 6, 2008

This is a nice place for beacon hunters. This terrain looks a lot like that at BRY. But here where both beacons still available. What’s more, there are foundations that suggest that before the VOR now seen here, there was another type of VOR at this place.

Route from Decive naar MOU, ca. 20 km – 20 min.
Decive is located south east from Nevers along the river Loire. Start in direction south at the D978a/Route de Moulins to Rue des Sables, after 700 metres turn left onto the D116/Route des Fuillats. Follow the D116 12.4 km, hereafter the road number changes in D15. Follow the D15 for ca. 7 km and the beacon is at the RHS.
