Montelimar VOR/DME MTL, 28 July 2007.

In the past there was a NDB at the airport of Montelimar. But at a visit to the airport at 2007 it was totally gone. But there is still a VOR/DME left upon a hilltop east of Montlimar.
We came from the south along the N7 at the south of Montelimar. The main route goes there at a roundabout to the left – onto an industrial area with several nougat factories – but we where going to the right. This is the Boulevard du President Rene Coty (D56). The Michelin maps are saying that it has a T-junction with the D540. In real there is here a roundabout and you take the second exit into the Chemin de Margére à Montboucher. At the crossing with the Chemin de Géry you stay at the Chemin de Margére à Montboucher and after some driving you will see the beacon at your LHS.
