Strasbourg, locator SE, 14 June 2011

I am near Strasbourg and there - in the city - is the SE beacon. Before I arrive in Strasbourg there is a heavy shower. It takes a while before I get near SE, Miss Mio is never very good at rush hour driving. Before she calls left or right I am already in the wrong place. Eventually I see SE, but then I still have to find a parking space. Yes, next to the beacon is a P+R, but as a true Dutchman you don't give 3 euros to take pictures for ten minutes at most.
I park a few hundred meters further in a neighborhood and walk back. I take pictures of SE - the last beacon on this trip - and then take pictures of the local tram. Strasbourg has a beautiful modern tram, more and more large cities in France have rediscovered the advantages of the tram.
This beacon is not on the May 2025 GEN 2.5 list.
