Bottrop NDB BOT, June 5, 2008

This is a beautiful beacon. The antenna is located in-between the houses of Gelsenkirchen-Scholven. It is placed upon a big monstrous bunker. We have spoken with some of the people living in the neighbourhood who told us that their cell phones worked less good since the building of this antenna.

Start at Münster in southerly direction via the A52. Take exit 43-Gelsenkirchen-Scholven direction Gelsenkirchen-Scholven. Keep right at the crossing and follow the signs to GE-Scholven. After 45 m go right at Feldhauser Straße/K3. After 200 m easy turn to the left at Emmericher Straße/K3. After 32 m go left at Bülsestraße/K3 en stay on this road for 300m. Go right onto Meinberger Straße.
The beacon is to find on the bunker placed at the corner of the Bülsestraße/K3 and the Meinberger Straße.
