When we came at this beacon, we where shocked.
When we looked good, we noticed that all antenna where gone.
All cables hung down from the steel structure.
We don’t know if this beacon will be struck from the list,
or if it is to be changed in the other model of VOR.
It is possible that the next beacon hunter who visits this place won’t find a beacon.

Because of our experience at Bremen this year where they did build another VOR,
Wim was wondering how the situation at DOM was.
So he made a visit to DOM. When we visited this beacon last year not much was left of this beacon.
It is still in the same condition, something else as we expected at Germany.
DOR to DOM.
Start at the parking place at the bent of the road near to the beacons
in southerly direction at the K18/Zeche-Norm-Straße to the Osterschleppweg.
After 1,5 km turn left onto the B1/Wickeder Chaussee, follow the B1 2,5 km.
Go left and go onto the A1 direction Bremen.
After 19.5 km u find the exit 80-Hamm-Bockum/Werne direction Werne/Selm.
Use this exit and at the crossing turn left onto the L518/Nordlippestraße.
Go straight on at two roundabouts and after 3.8 km at the roundabout you take the 1st turn
onto the Capeller Straße/K15. Keep immediately left to stay on the Capeller Straße/K15.
Go 3.4 km further on the K15.
Go left onto Langenbrock and after 300m left onto the Am Dammbach.
After 800m go right onto the Horst.
After 500m turn left for the Döbbenfeld. The beacon stays from here 60 further on at the RHS
