Hohenfels NDB HFX, 6 september 2017.

Wim wrote in his travel report:
We went to Hohenfels with NDB HFX. The beacon is placed on an American airbase, and the airbase is surrounded by woods. Miss Garmin does say that we have to go onto the airbase. We tried some other roads into the right direction, but we have only seen signs that did say that they would shoot at us when we would go on.
We did know from Google Earth that there must be a beatifull church in the vilage and we decided to see the church.
Near to the church is a bakery with a coffee corner. After visiting the church we did have a nice cup of coffee, before we went to the next beacon.
When we are passing the village of Großbissendorf, we took some photos of antenna masts at the airbase. They are in the same direction as HFX but we don't be lucky, HFX is not to see on our pictures.
