Warburg VOR/DME WRB , 3 June 2008.

At WRB we had a surprise. No, not the big shower that just that moment poured down. But near to the beacon we found a weather station of the Deutsche Wetterdienst.
The VOR/DME was also surprising. Normally there is only some grass growing around the beacon, but here we have seen some other arrangement.

Route from Kassel, B7/B83 Holländische strasse.
Start in north direction at the B7/B83/Holländische Straße to the Moritzstraße Follow the B7/B83 for 30 km until Warburg. Go right onto the Industriestraße and after 200 m left direction Zum Heidhof. Follow Zum Heidhof for ca 1.2 km, then turn left.
Straight ahead you will see the het beacon WRB after 800m at the RHS of the path.
