Locator CM, Avignon January 26th 2006

The locator CM is at the middle of the airport. We asked about its position at the restaurant of the flying club. They pointed out of the window and there it was. The answer on our question to get nearer to the beacon was "ask the people at the tower. They will give permission, its very quiet on this airport." Alas, it was just after twelve o'clock, lunchtime in France. Don't think you can get things done in France during lunchtime, even at a airfield tower. So we made first a picture at the base of the tower.
Then we drove along the south of the airfield to a small road along the east side. There we found the remains of a kind of waterworks. Standing on the wall of it we made the next picture.
