Rheine/Bentlage NDB BET, 2 June 2008.

This beacon is located not far away from the town where I live. There is a warning necessary at this point:
This beacon is located on a military compound. It’s better not to walk around there with big telephoto lenses.

Route from Rheine:
Start in westerly direction on Kolpingstraße to Matthiasstraße. Gentle curve to the left onto the Matthiasstraße. After 200 m go left onto Bahnhofstraße. Go right onto B481/B65/Kardiafterl-Galen-Ring. After 300 m go left onto K57/Neuenkirchener Straße. After 1.3 km go right onto Berbomstiege/K57. Continue on Berbomstiege. At the roundabout (after 700 m) take the 3rd turn onto Ochtruper Straße. After 1 km take at the roundabout the 3rd turn to Ochtruper Straße. After 1 km go further on Ohner Damm, after 800 m turn to the right. The beacon can be seen at the end of this road (900 m) on the left, on the military compound.
