Locator VZ, Veenhuizen, 28 June 1997.

The village of Veenhuizen has one main road and a few side roads. It’s famous for its prison. When you come via the road from Assen then on the Hoofdweg take the road to the right that leads to the church. As our memories are right the beacon is located behind the houses on the LHS. You have to walk over the grass behind the houses. The beacon stands between trees and is barely visible.

At October 2020 this beacon is switched off.
